the drunk uncle cocktail_hot for food

I was testing out Christmas cocktails, and knew that whichever one I posted would be called the drunk uncle. Inspired by Drunk Uncle from SNL because that's exactly who I felt like when the recipe development was all said and done! This Christmas bevvy is delicious, but please consume safely so you don't embarrass yourself or harm others.

I've also crafted some more delicious holiday drinks! If you want something boozy, try making my vegan nog or vegan irish cream. If you have a few too many or want to skip alcohol altogether, my hazelnut hot chocolate is totally alcohol-free and equally as tasty. Let's keep it a safe and happy holiday season!

Lauren Toyota vegan chef of hot for food

    Lauren Toyota

Lauren is a plant-based powerhouse, a former TV host turned wildly successful food creator, best-selling cookbook author, and the woman responsible for making vegan comfort food a thing worth craving. Through her blog and YouTube channel, hot for food, she’s amassed a dedicated following by recreating all the nostalgic, indulgent dishes we love—mac & cheese, burgers, cinnamon rolls—but making them entirely plant-based. No compromise on taste, no weird ingredients, just damn good food.
